What is The Family Medallion?
The Family Medallion is an attractive 3/4" x 5/8" oval pendant with three equally merged circles. Two circles represent the marriage union while the third symbolizes the importance of children within the family. The Family Medallion is crafted from the finest metals using the "lost wax" method of casting. This technique guarantees that your Family Medallion will always be of heirloom quality.
How is The Family Medallion used during the ceremony?
After the couple exchange vows, the bride and groom give a Family Medallion to each child (pendant, ring or lapel pin) as they pledge to love and support their children. This presentation ceremony, "Celebrating the New Family," comes free with each order and is easily adapted to any wedding tradition.
Other Family Medallion Uses........
In addition to the presentation of the Family Medallion to children, many brides and grooms present a Family Medallion to each other as part of the wedding service. The Family Medallion is also used to recognize other family members during the wedding including parents and grandparents and to acknowledge special family events such as anniversaries, baptisms, birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day and religious holidays.
