Fun Ideas For Ending Your Wedding Reception
Here are some ideas to end off your reception...
BUBBLE BLOWING
Blowing bubbles at weddings has become a popular alternative send-off in recent years. Bottles of bubbles can be wrapped in coloured net or fabric and tied with a ribbon.
BELL RINGING
Small wedding bells or jingle bells can be passed out to each guest. Tie coloured ribbons or small silk flowers on the bells to make them festive.
RIBBON STREAMERS
Lengths of ribbons (of varying widths)can be tied together, tied to a
small plastic ring or to a stick to make streamers to wave as you leave.
Ribbons can be white or colours to match your scheme.
ORIGAMI KITES
Give each guest a kite consisting of a stick, a string and an origami paper bird to wave as you leave the ceremony. There are books available
on making paper birds.. Small regular kites might also be possible.
BALLOON DROP
A net is suspended from the ceiling and filled with balloons. As you leave, the
net is let go and balloons cascade to the floor, covering you and your guests.
Guests can take balloons home with them.
GLO-IN-THE-DARK NOVELTIES
Give each guest a small glow-in-the-dark light sticks. These are available from
novelty stores and come in a variety of colours.
